Guber 2.0 plz!!!!!

Hi there,

is it possible to change Guber and make him select the 2 highest rated captains (first picks) instead of "random"captains that are not random at all and most of the time not fair.

reason i ask is cause sometimes pugs die cuz of unfair captains, at least in the eyes of some, also I've seen guy never being automatically selected for captain or be selected like 90%. Myself i was captain 8 times one day.

So plz change or fix this. i know its allot of work but i believe the pug will benefit

Personally I don't think it should always be the first picks captaining - a mid ranged or low ranged set of captains are just as capable of being equal and picking fairly. Technically, the bot should select the captains that are closest to one another in pick order, however this doesn't seem entirely accurate.

However any change suggestions at current are irrelevant as TimTim created GUBER, but is not around anymore - I believe he said in his goodbye post that he was going to work on the new UT4 (so unlikely to edit it), nor has he replied to snap's request for the source code.

If there's any talented developer out there willing to edit the old bot (or create a new one) I think there's some great additions we could make to the pugbot.

Including irc / pugbot in ut4 would be important so that's hardly an excuse to halt Dev support on guber.

I think theoretically it's supposed to yes. But obviously I do not know all the ins and outs. Would have to ask TimTim.

I was told those guber rankings are not being updated (since early 2014 or maybe earlier), apparently that feature has been turned off (no idea why).

would be cool if you could fix the spectating "seeing multikills and stuff" that doesnt work anymore since 2-3 months

Guber is the bot and is unrelated to newnet btw.
