Play of the week?

Just saw on youtube some Battlefield 4 'play of the week' videos, thought maybe people could upload clips from their demo's each week and we could take a poll on the best one?

I'd love it. I make clips. A few others like Sonic make clips but overall, most people don't take the time to highlight their stuff or even give timestamps for when cool stuff happens. If there is enough interest, I'd love to see it happen but that will depend on how many contributions we can get.

All people really need to do is time stamp their demos. It's as easy as typing "curtime" (current time in seconds) in the console 5 seconds before where you want the clip to start. Then name your demos something like Sonic_duku_500.dem. If people can't do this then no one is going to sit there and look through hours of demos.

I was talking to Hulksmash about this idea actually, Since Im not playing I got plenty of time to collect peoples clips and demo's. So I could make a top 3 plays of the week, every week. The winner of the plays of the week will be taken into a poll. At the end of the league all the winners of the plays of the week, will be in one Poll, where people can vote for their favorite clip. Maybe an idea to provide an official Owned Well shirt for the winning Play of the League? Like I said I have plenty of time, plus I can edit everything into a nice video every week. This way I can attribute to this community <3. Im still very excited about the season!

Morph brings up a good point actually, as I've been way too over-ambitious in the past with Clip of the Week endeavors. (UTSportsCenter anyone?) What happens is I'll make two or three really good episodes, then get burned out and quit due to lack of assistance.

I think something like this would need to be a team effort with proper organization and roles to have a real chance at longevity. I would love to see it happen though and would be more than willing to help out and contribute, but if something like this is to be started I would want to see it go the distance rather than fizzle out. Maybe it's not too overly ambitious given how short this season will be though?

Lol Morph I can see your point there, but no. Its nothing like being over-ambitious. I intend to make a really great series every, so I can still attribute to the season. Take a look at the Power25 list. That shit took a shitload of time and I don't regret doing it.

Same goes for the plays of the week and plays of the season. I will invest time. Yes ofcourse I will be watching some streams, and hopefully stream some games myself, but that doesn't mean I got no time left. I got loads of time and I want to invest it into Owned Well.

is it like you look at the remaining time of the game after some cool shit happened and you remember that time afterwards?
